41st Annual Graduation Celebration and Awards Ceremony

The Guerrero Student Center Graduation Celebration and Awards Ceremony is a special celebration of the achievements of Latinx/Hispanic/Chicanx students.

Event Highlights:
- All majors are invited and all students are welcome
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Previous involvement in the Guerrero Student Center is not required.
- Each graduate who registers will receive a Guerrero Student Center cord
- Each graduate will be highlighted on the Graduation Celebration slideshow
- University staff/faculty & community members celebrating your accomplishment

Outstanding Graduating Senior & Graduate/Professional Student Awards

The University of Arizona Hispanic Alumni Club (UAHA) will recognize 2 outstanding graduating undergraduates and 2 outstanding graduating graduate/professional students, who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership and dedicated community service, with an interest and commitment to the Latinx community. Students selected as award recipients will be presented during the Guerrero Student Center Graduation Celebration and Awards Ceremony on May 14th, 2025. Award recipients will also receive a cash award of $500. Due Date: April 18th!
Eligibility
- Complete your degree program in Fall 2024, Spring 2025, or Summer 2025
- Register for and plan to attend the 41st Annual Graduation Celebration on May 14th, 2025
- Complete nominee form by deadline of April 18th, 2025

- When do folks who need accessibility go in?
- Guests who need accessibility can bypass the line instead of waiting.
- Where is the closest bathroom to Centennial Hall? (Before 6pm)
- GSC (Chavez Building) or Communication Building, both have restrooms you can access
- I need graduation regalia, what can I do?
- You can purchase your graduation regalia from the bookstore. It is open until 7pm on.
- What is the dress code for students participating in the graduation celebration?
- Regalia is not required for our ceremony, but we highly encourage students to wear their cap & gown.
- When do students get their graduation cord?
- Cords will be given out during the ceremony.
- What is the process to get tickets for guests? Is there a guest limit?
- We are still coordinating details with Centennial Hall. We will share updates as soon as we have more information.
- Can I still participate in the Graduation Celebration if I am graduating in Summer 2025?
- YES! You can participate in our graduation celebration if you graduated in Fall 2024, Spring 2025, or will graduate in Summer 2025.
- What can my guests bring into Centennial Hall?
- Please have your guests check out the Centennial Hall Security Policy.
- Where is the best place to park?

- What time should students participating in the Graduation Celebration arrive?
- Once you register, you will receive additional day-of information.
